Rom. 10:17, NKJV
Those who are being sanctified
‘For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren.’ (Heb. 2:11, NKJV) Are you being sanctified?
The Lord knows those who are His
‘Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”’ (2 Tim. 2:19, NKJV) Does Jesus know you?
Rabbi, is it I?
‘Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, “Rabbi, is it I?” He said to him, “You have said it.”’ (Matt. 26:25, NKJV) Are you like Judas Iscariot?
Satan entered him
‘And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”’ (John 13:26-27, NKJV) What does the Bible teach about servants of Satan?
Judas Iscariot
“The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” (Matt. 26:24, NKJV) Have you gone down the same path as Judas Iscariot?
Names not written in the Book of Life
“All who dwell on the earth will worship [the beast], whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Rev 13:8, NKJV) Has your name been written in the Book of Life?
Those whom You have given Me
Jesus says: “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.” (John 17:9, NKJV) Are you among those whom God has given to Jesus Christ?
Grace and truth
‘And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth . . . For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.’ (John 1:14; 17, NKJV) How much of grace and truth do you understand?
He who is not worthy of Me
Jesus says: “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.” (Matt. 10:37-38, NKJV) Are you worthy of Jesus Christ?
Another Jesus
‘For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.’ (2 Cor. 11:4, ESV) Have you believed in another Jesus?
May your money perish with you
These are the words of the apostle Peter to a man named Simon: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!” (Acts 8:20, NIV) How do you use your money?
You have no part or share in this ministry
‘Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.’ (Gal. 6:2-3) What thoughts do you have of yourself?
Your heart is not right before God
The apostle Peter says to a man named Simon: “You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. Repent of this wickedness . . . For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.” (Acts 8:21-23, NIV) Is your heart right before God?
Because they refused to love the truth
‘The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.’ (2 Thess. 2:9-10, ESV) How will you respond to the truth?
Deceiving and being deceived (2)
Jesus says: “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matt. 7:22-23, NKJV) Are you deceiving yourself?
Deceiving and being deceived (1)
This is the warning the apostle Paul gives concerning the last days: ‘But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.’ (2 Tim. 3:13, NKJV) Are you deceiving and being deceived?
The beginning of sorrows
Jesus says: “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars . . . For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matt. 24:6-8, NKJV) Do you know what is to come?
If these men die a natural death
These are the words of Moses concerning Korah, Dathan and Abiram: “If these men die a natural death . . . then the Lord has not sent me. But if the Lord brings about something totally new, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them . . . then you will know that these men have treated the Lord with contempt.” (Num. 16:29-30, NIV) Have you become like Korah and his followers?
Savage wolves will come in among you
The apostle Paul says: ‘For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.’ (Acts 20:29-30, NKJV) Are you watching out for these savage wolves?
But you make this people trust in a lie
‘Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.’”’ (Jer. 28:15-16, NKJV) Have you been trusting in lies?
